This week will be the last week of homework. Though, if your child is still working on past work, keep working on it and get it turned in.
There are a couple big events coming up next week.
Tuesday we have our end of year field trip to the Frontier Homestead State Park. This is the Museum on Main street just south of the cemetery. We will be there for a few hours in the morning and then go over to the Bicentennial soccer fields for lunch and some games (soccer, capture the flag, ultimate Frisbee,...) before we head back to the school.
We need help on this field trip. For the Frontier Homestead part to work we need parent volunteers to man different stations as the students rotate through each. We will need at least 4 adult helpers. If you would like to come let me know, Thanks. Permission slips coming home tomorrow.
The other Big event next week is our 4th grade Utah program. This will be on Thursday the 10th at 2:00 pm. Parents and family members are welcome to come and watch our program. Each student will be part of a small skit for one of the songs that we will sing. They might need a costume to go along with their part, just use what ever you have around the house. We will be making assignments tomorrow. A few of us have speaking parts, which we handed out last week.
One last thing. If anyone has any of the grocery paper bags (the big ones, not lunch bag size) we would love if you could share with our class, as we are doing a pioneer activity and are going to make covers for pioneer journals. If you do have any, and can share please send them in this week. Thank you!!
