Bryce Canyon was fantastic! Thanks for getting your kids here early and thanks for those parents that came. Thank you. The Park rangers are coming tomorrow to talk to us some more, and will hand out a Park Pass. This park pass is for all 4th graders every year and will get you into all federal lands and waters for free. So no entry fees for National parks.
Kite flight for reading and sight is this Saturday.
We are starting our End of level testing next week, on Monday. It was planned to start this week, but we don't have as many tests as originally planned. Because of this we were able to move our start date back a week. So good breakfasts and good night rests will really help the kids each day. Next week we have 1/2 a test planned for Monday thru Thursday, then the following week it will be Monday and Tuesday and we are done.
Frontier Homestead state park
Next Friday, May 3rd, we are going on a field trip to the Frontier Homestead state park. We need 3-5 parent volunteers to come and help. If you would like to help out let me know. we are leaving the school at 9:00, arriving at the Homestead park in town at about 9:15 and will be done there about 12:00. Then down to the Bicentennial soccer fields for lunch, some games and back to the school by 2:00. I have sent home paper permission slips or here is an electronic permission slip.
